2024 Peer Mediation Partner Invitational (Recap)

Building a Better World, One Conflict at a Time: Join the Movement and Support Peer Mediation Training

I am incredibly grateful for the success of our recent 2024/2025 Peer Mediation Grant School Kickoff. This event brought together nearly 70 school leaders from across the country, both in person at Beverly Hills High School and virtually, to discuss challenges, share best practices, and learn from experts.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our Executive Director, Cheryl Epps, the KMC Board, and our dedicated team for their unwavering commitment to our mission. Their hard work and dedication have made this event a resounding success.

A highlight of the event was the insightful presentation by Ken Cloke, who provided invaluable guidance on peer mediation and conflict resolution. We were also honored to hear from esteemed guests like Professor Shaphan Roberts, Judge Charles Ervin, and our former and current peer mediators. Their experiences and expertise were invaluable to our attendees.

Additionally, the one-hour hybrid dialogue hosted and sponsored by INVLA and Days of Dialogue provided a valuable platform for participants to connect, exchange ideas, and explore emerging trends in peer mediation.  Many thanks for the ongoing support of Days of Dialogue for adding another tool in our resources for our schools.

As we move forward, I am excited about the opportunities to expand our reach and continue empowering young people to become effective mediators. Together, we can create a more peaceful and just society.

Your support is essential to our mission. By investing in peer mediation and conflict management training, we are empowering teachers and students with the tools they need to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your donation will help us provide more training opportunities and make a lasting impact on our schools and communities.

Let’s continue this important work together. The journey towards a more peaceful future has just begun. Learn more about KMC here and make a tax-deductible donation here.

Respectfully,

Anne Sawyer
