On behalf of Kids Managing Conflict, we’re excited to invite you or your school to participate in the upcoming Youth Dialogue: “Resilience in Action – Youth Conversations on Community and Recovery,” sponsored by the YMCA Los Angeles, and in partnership with Kids Managing Conflict, Days of Dialogue, INVLA, LA vs Hate, and Calibrate.
- Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025
- Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Lunch: Yes, included
- Cost: FREE
- Location: Japanese American National Museum; 100 N Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012
This event is more than just a gathering—it’s a shared space for healing, empowerment, and connection.
We ask each school to identify at least five students to attend and participate in youth-led conversations about resilience, safe spaces, and leadership.
In parallel, faculty and parents are encouraged to join us in a dedicated adult dialogue focused on the challenges youth are facing today, personal insights, and how organizations like the YMCA and Kids Managing Conflict can better support our young people.
What You Will Gain
- For Youth: Meaningful conversations on leadership and recovery
- For Adults: A safe, supportive space to exchange ideas and strategies
- For Everyone: Food, connection, and community healing
Other
- Transportation provided (see registration for YMCA bus locations)
- By attending, teens can participate in a drawing to win Gift Cards and a PS5!
Let’s work together to amplify youth voices, build stronger communities, and model what resilience in action truly looks like.
